  • Interesting perspective on bringing nature back into cities as population decreases, although I expect my city will be growing for the rest of my life. On the other hand my city has a massive "green belt" (over 200 square kilometers) purposely reserved for natural vegetation - no buildings. It is already the largest green space in any city in the world. (which means it has the lowest population density of any city with over 1M people <370 per sq km)

    I would like to hear more about how to obtain more useful city data with less infrastructure and less instrumentation.

    Here they designate green belts but then just appear to go on to concrete over them regardless, then wonder why they now have issues with surface water run-off.
