Hi I am working on a USB interface to networking that will work with Moto-Z Module. I build a custom ROM image for a Nexus 5 that included the device driver for the USB chip we used in the device SMC9500A. I was wondering what is required to hook a USB Ethernet (looks like ethernet) device to the Moto-Mods? Which kernel drivers are built into the Android ROM image for the Moto-Z? Can one build a custom ROM with other device drivers in the Linux Kernel?
Please post some of your projects and your evaluation of the Moto-Z. There are probably many on this site interested, but $700 is a bunch to spend on a dev project.
