About Billabot in his own words:
"I've been a software engineer for 30 years. Electronics has been a hobby every since I graduated from a 2 year Technical College with a degree in Industrial Electronics right after I finished my BS in CIS. Right now I'm semi-retired and spend most of my time on the web expanding and applying my software engineering skills to my electronics hobby. It is an excellant way to pass the days.
In fact, I just recently passed the exam for the highest Ham Radio rate in the USA. I am now an Extra Class Amatuer Radio Licensee.
I am a huge fan of many of the current hobbist development boards. Some examples would be the Texas Instruments Launchpad with booster packs, the unstoppable Arduino UNO, and the awesome STM8/32 Discovery boards."
