    I voted for FPGAs, natürlich . But then, FPGAs are always my Technology of the Year. For most people, FPGAs are at best the Technology of a Future Year, kind of like "GNU/Linux on the Desktop" 2014 was…

    I voted FPGA because Zynq is not in the list, and it IS the new enabler for size and performance in new projects. IoT is some marketing term that's being overused by everyone.

    I would argue "Wearables" is actually the technology of the year. I suppose strictly, it's not a "technology" per se, but it is as much a movement as IoT.
