What're you up to for the holidays?

Hi everyone, I figured I'd create a place where we can all discuss our projects but also chat about the holidays and any plans we have.

Kind of in keeping with the theme of the competition, I'm celebrating Christmas differently this year. I usually spend the holidays with my family in the UK and Christmas is a big operation planned well in advance with a huge Christmas tree etc. This year though I'm spending the holidays with my partner's family in Hong Kong so there's still going to be lots of family time and celebrations, just maybe a different style and a bit more low-key.

Parents

  • Christmas day has toned down since my kids have flown the nest, but there is still a tree and a couple of massive dinner parties, and reconnecting with family. In between all that I will try to catch up on project work and my reading list. I have been accumulating unread books.

    I definitely know the feeling of books on my 'to read' list piling up. Holidays are a great time to catch up though!

    It took a bit of getting used to, but I've got into audiobooks and I really like how help me make the most of the time when I'm driving, walking round the grocery store etc. Doesn't make my pile of physical books any smaller though Sweat smile
