This week I visited Novelty Automation, an arcade of quirky machines to see their latest machine designed and created by Tim Hunkin.

Tim explains the basic premise of the machine

Machine in action

The machine is a multi-parted diorama and each of the rooms of the hotel light up and animate to tell the story. The story starts with "AirBnB" expanding out to be "Air Bed n Bug". The story told through the headphones and there's a curtain to give the watcher some privacy.

I bet it was great, I've not been, but have been a Tim Hunkin fan since watching the secret life of machines on TV!

I wasn't a good as some of the other events in that it was just an unveiling. Previously he's gone into the details of how it was built etc. So for the IZombie we got to see the prototypes etc.
