I've been working on a project with a small microcontroller that's programmed via UDPI. So have been using a USB to Serial adapter with a resistor to do the programming. I also wanted to do some serial monitoring for debugging so have a second adapter wired up for that.
The problem is that the USB cables have a tendency to pull on the adapter and hence the hookup cables unplug when you don't want them to. I'll often use tape or bluetak to solve this kind of problem.
I decided to make a small tray for the two adapters, my first thought was to have it clipping onto the breadboard but that didn't work with it just unclipping from the smooth edges of the board.
So I made the tray have a hollow bottom and added a big chunk of steel.
