Brand new case for my Raspberry Pi

14 Feb 2013

After having had a horrendous time fighting through the traffic into the office in Leeds today, I was greeted by a lovely surprise from our friend John Alexander at the Shropshire Linux User Group (SLUG for short). It was a reasonable sized jiffy bag with two Perspex cases for the Raspberry Pi. One in bright Orange (I wasn't a fan of this colour to start with but I've grown to like it after having it on my desk for the morning) and a rather nice blue one.

To be honest I turned into a big kid on Christmas morning and instantly opened the orange one and had my Raspberry Pi safely inside in under 3 minutes, it was so easy to put together and keeps the Pi save and sound.

After the excitement I has feeling a bit creative, so I put together this animated GIF of the case being built.

Edit: It is an animated GIF honest but you will need to click the image to open the full sized image in a lightbox

I've only 1 Raspberry Pi, so I've got the blue one spare, if anyone fancies owning one of these feel free to drop me a comment below

Please note: I only have ONE so apologies if you are disappointed

Thanks to Patrick for putting my case on his blog.

Fortunately his Aviators (normally used to keep the glare off the extreme Leeds sun...ROFL) managed to block the glare of the

You can get yours here  if Pat has run out image
