dixonselvan Heres the video's I promised.... Couldn't figure out how to reply with them to you directly. Not bad for a $5 kit from MicroCenter and It answers faster than Alexa does........

I bought a few 4 mic re-speaker arrays to try to do the alexa light ring dir pointing thing. not sure when I'll be able to play with those. Ill post something about them when I unbox one. theres two versions…

theres two versions of the aiy voice kit out there the one you linked to is a version 2 which includes the raspberry pi zero BUT I think the V1 is better. YMMV

Google AIY Voice Kit - Micro Center

The V1 kit does NOT include the pi but its a full size hat with a bunch of IO connectors the half size pi zero hat of the V2 lacks. Well no connectors just a bunch of open pads you have to add headers to.

also a pi zero also goes for $5 at microcenter so I don't see the value in the V2 kit when for almost the same price you can get a model 3 B and a V1 voice kit

when you actually start with the google image there are a bunch of examples that don't work on the zero besides the pi 3 is faster and was already attached to my touchscreen.

heres the extra connectors of the V1.

If your just building a google assistant you wont really care if you don't have these but I have other plans for mine....

6 servo connectors and 4 mosfet outputs among others...

I have to add the 5V coaxial jack to this one....

I think those little sot G31 drivers are 20V 6A mosfets

DMG3420U-7 | N-Channel 20 V 29 mOhm Surface Mount .

I could have used that for my ring leds on the pi cam instead of the big to220 mosfet I did use.....
