I'll come clean, despite studying Electrical & Electronic Engineering (I don't think you could do just Electronic Engineering in those days) I never liked the Electrical bit. I'm not happy messing about with invisible stuff that can kill you. One mistake and puff - you're gone. I know from experience - I've made one mistake - and puff, I was the other side of the room and all the lights had gone out. Luckily still around to learn to be more careful.
Still, there comes a time when you just have to grasp the nettle and today my new electric cooker came and now it is time to put away the robots and wire it in. Hopefully nothing will blow up and I'll be able to make the fish, chips and peas scheduled for tonight's dinner.
