A few days ago, I received a swag bag from Tariq and unfortunately as reported, the little blue man within had been roughed up a little and had to be hospitalised with a broken arm.
You will all be pleased to know, that with the help of some gorilla glue, blue man is back on the road to full recovery. I managed to ease the twisted shoulder back into position without it snapping off and applied a little glue.
I tried in vain to get the spring to sit in the joint and slide into position to allow the pin to be inserted. The spring was twisted which didn't help. Every attempt resulted in the spring flying out and a hunt initiated to try and find it.
In the end I glued the end of the spring into the arm and then I could get it back into the joint by holding the other end of the spring with some tweezers.
Little blue man is now recuperating ready for an appearance in a future blog or two.
