Picroft: Opensource Voice Assistant on Pi | Raspberry Pi

This video is all about the installation of Picroft on Raspberry Pi. Picroft is the OS based on Rasbian Lite and Mycroft installed on top of it. Mycroft is a digital voice assistant written mostly in Python. As Mycroft is opensource, this opens up a lot of potentials to add features. As pi does not come with any sort of audio input, I have used a Respeaker 2-MIC HAT from Seeedstudio. This works pretty fine. I have also added some python scripts to use the 3 RGB LEDs available on the HAT, to depict some visual feedback by interacting with the MessageBUS.

    Hi Bikash,

Any reason you're using these bit/ly links instead of the full URLs?

It doesn't make sense to use shortened links unless you expect people to manually type them out.

What you have now _all_ seem to be youtube links, so something has gone wrong with the way you've done it, unless you really do expect people to watch 8 videos.

Also, once you have the full (non-bit.ly) URLs, there is a better way to hyperlink. You can highlight the text that describes the content, and then click on the hyperlink icon in the editor.

    Hey Shabaz,

Thanks !! I missed that perhaps during pasting the links go tmessed up. I usually use bitly links in my video description and copied the same to the post. Will sort those out.

    Thanks again.

    Bikash
