So spent a very long day trying to figure out if the battery on a robotic vacuum was bad or not, due to the fact that it wouldn't charge. I've had this project sitting around for awhile and I'm kind of ashamed to admit that it is a friends vacuum and should have had it back to her a long time ago. Anyways, after a while of checking the charger and then also checking the battery (which seemed to hold a charge) I noticed that the charge voltage was not making it through the bot itself, so figured it had to be on the charge board. Push come to shove and sure enough turned out to be the mosfet on the charge board, going to venture a guess and figure that it probably got hit by lightning. Anyways, after all is said and done the thing should be fixed after a quick soldering on of an 86 cent part. Today, was a good day, lol.
