NexGen: The Lab: What to do with a Cuisinart 12 cup plus. use it to control a DIY Sand Blaster.

imageimageI have a real problem with what to do with my Cuisinart 12 Plus that has no heat but the clock works. Rip the guts out and use it to control a DIY Sand Blaster, of course! 

The cabinet will be made of 1/2" plywood painted gloss white inside. Lighting inside the box will be a strip of LEDs. I have this POS Sand Blast Kit (all in one), and I plan on using that for the guts. There is also an inlet for high-volume fresh air, most likely a fan of some sort. 

The Box stands on 4 legs with a shelf under it, to hold two (2) buckets one for fresh sand and the second for recovered sand. To make it more fun I might add sensors in the buckets to measure if the used sand is full or if the fresh sand almost empty.  I found this DIYer on YouTube, looks like a good start for the box and legs. 

Change of Plans. Pivot Time. I most likely will use an Arduino with an RTC module, and some multi-line display needs buttons to set the clock, I want to have a foot switch to control it
