Solar Power Hat Fan

This weekend I thought I would combine a couple of unused items into something useful for summer dog walks.

I received an EcoFlow Power Hat this past Christmas, but haven't come up with a use for it until now.  The hat has eight Perc Monocrystalline Silicon solar panels mounted in a wide brim.  It has a voltage regulator and USB-A/USB-C ports that have a max output of 5V @ 2.4A.  It's advertised for charging cellphones and battery banks when you are off-grid.  I also have a bit of E14 swag - a USB-C fan that I thought I would attach to the hat to provide some cooling when I'm out with the dogs.  The fan draws about 350mA, so it shouldn't be a problem even with a partly cloudy day.

I bought a short USB-C extender cable from Amazon and printed a brim mounted bracket for the fan.

I'm sure my neighbors will have a good time with this and I need to be careful how I turn my head...  Not sure what the dogs will think Laughing.
