You may have seen recent communications that we’ve upgraded the Community website. If you haven’t had a chance to see the video tour, please make sure to check it out. In this blog we shared with you some new features you can expect to see, but we also wanted to take some time in this blog to let you know of some enhancements to existing features that will improve your experience on the element14 Community.
- You will find a new comment/blog input box with update symbols to choose from while using the Omega menu button.
- The updated RTE (Rich Text Editor) for comments, replies etc will have more languages in the Insert> Syntax Highlighting option, this will support C++ and Python. The JavaScript native to the platform should cover the Node.js code.
- Expect better performance out of our video upload tool with the upgrade.
- Enhanced Search and filter options that allows members to browse all content instead of just specific content types and key words. You will also be able to “follow”, “share” and “bookmark” without having to open the link to the content item.
- Improvements to the Personalization and added Profile Functions give you the ability to change your member preferences with less clicks, and less confusion.
- Private Messages will be upgraded with new Direct Messages making it easier to connect one on one with other members or the element14 Community team. (Read more about changes to Private Messages.)
We are very excited to bring these enhancements to you, let us know if you have any questions, or let us know how you like these changes in the Feedback and Support area of the Community!
