We at element14 love the fact that we have a large community of talented engineers who enjoy discussing the latest advances in technology. We sometimes see discussion threads where people express strong feelings-- and we love it! Engineers have feelings, too, and we encourage you to share your unbiased opinion on element14. In recent days, however, we have seen a couple of people cross the line and make personal attacks on members of our community. Singling-out someone for criticism creates an unhealthy atmosphere on element14, and we want to remind you of our Terms of Service:
"You are responsible for... all content you contribute to element14, including ensuring that such content is not unlawful in any way in your or any other country, offensive or abusive in any way,.."
Singling someone out for their race, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin will not be tolerated. If our moderators see such activity, they may issue the user a warning, suspend the user's account, or ban them from the element14 community altogether. And if you feel you have been the victim of such criticism, please use our Report Abuse feature to let us know and we will make sure it is addressed promptly.
element14 is an awesome community, and that is because you all care passionately about engineering and technology. Strong opinions are welcome here-- just be respectful of everyone around you, and help us keep our community a fun, exciting place for everyone.
