Our final release of the year will be deployed on 2nd December 08:00 GMT, and will take 3-4 hours to complete.
As well as deploying our own fixes and improvements, we're also performing a platform upgrade from v12.1.8 to 12.1.9. For those of you who are interested, the Verint release notes are here.
- Our tabbed content widget now uses a more modern swish-effect when paging through content and we also have numbered pages of content you can click through;
- The popup dialog for upcoming Webinars, RoadTests and Design Challenges has had a minor redesign;
- Multiple instances of the same paginated widget on the same page didn't play well together.
- There were a few issues with how cancelled events were displayed.
- Automatic redirects for moved/renamed content didn't always work.
- There were a few fixes to address inconsistencies viewing your drafts of certain content types (Blogs, RoadTest Reviews). You can see your drafts on your Profile > My Content.
- In our next release we're planning to add a list of all your historic RoadTest and Design Challenge applications, not just drafts.
- The new Farnell Japan and element14 Vietnam stores are now listed in the 'Store' menu in the main site navigation.
- Early next year we're expecting to be able to full support these new stores in the Buy Now buttons for products.
- In some scenarios, a member creating a piece of content containing a video would trigger the moderation process, which shouldn't have happened.
- RoadTest Reviews were sometimes being orphaned, which had knock-on effects in some content lists.
