Date Consistency....I do mean to be critical

Is it possible to establish a standard in the E14 Community that define a date time creation?

I'm currently working with a government group where the format of the date is extremely important. I thought nothing of it until I began to notice the different formats. 

I came across three different posts with three different data formats. I'm a DD/MM/YY kinda guy. I can live with MM/DD/YY or the date written out completely. If you decide to abbreviate the month then there is no going back. Mixing date format across content is just bad form.

Three posts across our community have different formats. There may be more. I haven't looked. Two of the formats are within the same forum RoadTest Review. At least that can be consistent No?

This is a nice to have not a have to have. I just think date consistency is a easy deliverable. That is my feedback and I dated and stamped it.
