It simply won't do for dad to let some tradesman come in and fix things. I mean, what would the other dads say?
No no. Rolling up your DIY sleeves and taking things apart to, A) Fix the hell out of them, or B) Make them even better (I don't think there's a C), is there?) is a time honoured tradition that separates the men from the boys, the wheat from the chaff, and the ambitiously curious from the nervously realistic.
Are you a DIY Ninja? I already suspect the answer to that is a solid, hammer-wielding yes, otherwise you probably wouldn't be spending your time on element14 talking about crazy devices you've built and electronics you've melted.
Sadly, it's not me you have to convince. Father's Day is looming, so it's the family you need to reassure of your DIY kung fu.
As my dad always said, "There's a right tool for every job, and it's called a hammer." Can you match the job to the tool, or the tool to the job in the quiz below? If you can, you'll earn one of our grand Father's Day badges that'll determine your status as a DIY Ninja forever more.
Oh, and don't forget -- you can't earn this badge unless you've already performed your fatherly duties by bagging the previous days' badges, so go get them first!
You have until 26th June, 2016, to get all the badges, so don't delay!
