While we've been celebrating all week with our geeky polls, discussions and blogs, May 25th is the official Geek Pride Day. So, first and foremost, we'd like to wish you all a Happy Geek Pride Day! Whether your spend the day tinkering on your latest project, binge watching all the Star Wars films, or remembering to bring a towel - however you celebrate, and whomever you celebrate it with, we (Vulcan) salute you!
Since today also happens to be #ThrowbackThursday, we wanted to take this opportunity to revisit some of our past geeky projects, as well as highlight some of the recent cool content from members of the element14 team. If you think we're missing some awesome nerdy, geeky, techie, <insert adjective of choice> content, be sure to chastise me with an @mention in the comments below and I'll be sure to make some hasty edits.

Adventures in Akihabara
While certainly not a long time ago, and definitely not in a galaxy far, far away, I recently went half-way around the world to the wonderful country of Japan to celebrate a friend's wedding. And you know, buy a lot of cool nerd swag. Read about my adventures in Akihabara (the "otaku capital of the world"), and feel free to ask me any questions you may have had about my travels.
(Now if only I can get over this post-travel sinus infection...)
