I apply for those where I think I can make a fair judgement. They have to be in my interest or curiosity range or - preferably - something I can learn from.

Taxes. I used to be quite involved in RoadTest, but something changed on E14 with the tax situation and I haven't been a very active member of that group since.

I would only apply for a road test when I believe I could evaluate the product successfully and feed back to the community in a useful manner.

As I have tax issues with a road test, I also like to have some ongoing use for the product.
