I certainly hope so and can only say they are in my house. I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for my 6 yr old daughters urgings to help her. I haven't really done any real technical stuff since I built and installed computers and networks nearly 30 years ago. She has lit the fire once again and I have lots of catching up to do. I hope this old brain can keep up with hers. She's in a math & engineering STEM school and wants to build prosthetics and robots.
Good to hear. Hope you do well with the catching up as Element14 is great for that. Lots of fun things to do, with some competitions with prizes. Prizes are always good. There is lots to learn as well as I was never a Blogger (I did a bit of YouTubing for work but nothing serious) and at times it still seems a mysterious and somewhat weird world where there is always something new. I recently realised (after two years) that when you click on the Like link in the right hand column it changes to Liked! Old brains are good,, just a bit slower and they like to make jokes (although for some reason children do not seem to find them funny).
You need to decide what sort of activity suits you. I started with the Project14 competitions as I could make up my own ideas and do something not too complicated and not too expensive either. Plus I like robots so I can nearly always squeeze a robot into Project14 somewhere.
I also did some of the Essentials Modules as I wanted to do some online learning.
