Right, it's kind of bad form (aka spammy) to simply promote your own blog here. This one feels a bit like click-bait.
However, sharing content here and linking to your blog in the credits (or as part of the introduction or text, when tastefully done) builds credibility and makes it much more likely for enthusiasts here to check it out and maybe even share and support it.
