Fantastic to have an Arduino group on element14 now. I hope it will bring more of the DIY maker & hackerspace community into the fold.
I've been playing around with PIC & AVRs for couple years now. Recently, I picked a LoL Shield (130 charlieplexed LED display) from the great Jimmie Rodgers and decided it was time to finally jump into the world of Arduino.

I have a couple of BlackWidow Arduinos with integrated Wifi.
Excellent for home energy monitoring and other remote projects.

I'm also using the Arduino in 3 differnet applications aboard a yacht to monitor and control stuff wirelessly
Very interesting. I like this BlackWidow board - I hadn't seen it before. Slick how you have use it to feed data logging & graphing. Reminds me of the Tweet-A-Watt mod by Lady Ada.
But I gotta saw the marine applications sound even more interesting... do you call it an Yachtuino?
