Hi, everybody. I'm new here and have just bought an Arduino mega 2560. I wonder how many dpdt 5v relays I can power directly from the Arduino mega 2560?If I use DPDT relays, I probably can do what i need with 10 relays. (I.e. 10 binary bits).

I depends on the current the relays require when operated.

It's best if you look at using a seperate supply for the relay coils.
If you used optocoupled relays, you could then use 12v, which would also feed into the Vin of the mega.
