First adriuno project made

I made my very first Ardiino project on Saturday 4th January 2014 - a 10 LED chaser (like the one seen in Knight Rider)!

I am gong to attempt multiplexing with 74hc595's to control more LEDs in a LED chaser

Hi, Try using this LED matrix to create something with it (for example a game or a screen). Practicing with it would help you a lot with Arduino. LED Matrix (8 x 8 Bi-Colour) – oomlout Good luck. A.A

I am trying 16 LEDs in a 4x4 matrix, the first time I wired my board , it didn't work properly - then I noticed I wired the LEDs wiring wrong - so gonna alter it!

A bigger version of a LED chaser , using 74HC595 shift registers to control 30-40 LEDs on if!

That was my first project too, i programmed it to do many sequences..
now go for a project that includes a 16x2 LCD display...

i resently order a bunch of 74hc595s (25 of them) from EBay , i am thinking of using 4 of them to control 32 LEDs

it will be a 32 LED chaser using 3 mm LED's (anything bigger and they wont fit properly!), once i have made it and worked out the code - i will post it here

PS my Arduino is an Arduino Compatible Mega 2560 R3
