i m trying to make coding with 8 sensor with different sensor IDS

SENSOR TYPE                             SENSOR ID

TEMP 1                                            1

TEMP 2                                             2

ULTARVOILET                                    3

PAR                                                  4

I NEED to read the serial port

analyze incoming byte

store sensor value according to each sensor id

and display it

please is there anyone who can help me in coding ..It would be greatest help

pleaseeeeeee

Peter you're absolutely right. Harman you've asked for help to do your project, you've got help, but because you don't understand you post another request. I would consider that rather rude. Is this study…

Please don't cross POST or start another thread when your not getting what you need from the previous one, it becomes very confusing

    re: need help urgently..

I have already provided a fairly simple framework for you to use and it would work for your requirements. any other solution will simply be a variation of this, even the feedback so kindly given by Saleem follows the same approach as my sample

people will not want to do all this for you and I have already provided the basics to you. this additional thread is slightly more complex only in that you have called out more sensor IDs and I have shown you how to extend that too in the sample

if your having difficulty with reading the actual sensors then tell us what sensors your using and show us the code you have so far tried, provide a connection (Schematic) diagram, we can then be in a better position to help

if your so new to this that your having difficulty in reading a basic device then I would suggest starting with a simpler project (And there are plenty on the Arduino.cc site and others that will show you how to code, read simple sensors (All the ones you list are there) and how to output the values to a serial device.

once you have mastered that, then move on to combining devises and extending to more complex systems

    Regards

    Peter

Is this study that you're doing, related to this project.?

is this project part of an assignment that you have to do.?

If you truly want to learn then we can suggest some books and tutorials, but you need to invest time JUST like we did.

I think we deserve some honest answers.
