Hi,

i'm starting a new project, the global idea is to enter some datas through a keypads.

the keypads need to be with a IP68

so the best keypads for my project is a piezo keypads

I don't find anything in the datasheet :  http://camdenboss.com/media/category/files/piezo_keypads.pdf

Can i use this type of keypads like any other 4x4 matrix keypads for my arduino ?

Can i use a standard keypads tutorial to connect my piezo keypads to my arduino ?

Thanks !

Take another good look at the data sheet, it tells you most of what you need to know.

Short answer, you can use the keypad with an Arduino as long as you are careful to make sure you do not over drive the Arduino inputs.

The 0.2A output drive worries me as you want to keep the current into an Arduino down to 0.01 or 0.02 Amps max.

The PDF also provides the output signals for each key pressed, so you just need to match the output pins to properly decode each key pressed.

While robust, are you sure these keypads are the best to use?
