I am new in Arduino and still do't know what to do. Like what kind of Arduino to use on my project (which is Sensitive CCTV that allows remote connection and low power costs) and how to start learning the tricks. Please guide me. I need to learn this for my CAPSTONE due on December. All kinds of help is appreciated.

That's great, nice to have your acquaintance. Let's learn together. Yes, I would like to make a CCTV surveillance camera with 1) motion sensor that activates the recording capability when the normal scene…

Hello Divina, I think that the remote accessibility maybe better and simplified in a lot of aspects if you orient your low budget to a Raspberry PI + Camera. Using Arduino you should consider and external…

Divina, you need to write a list of the jobs you expect the Arduino to do, then you can match these up with the capabilities of the CPU and the add on boards.

well, you say you want to "allows remote connection and low power costs". You need to describe exactly what you mean as a list of functions. For example you might:

    • Turn on the CCTV at 9.00am and off at 04:00 pm
    • Have the times programmable by the operator.
    • Switch the CCTV output between 2 recorders every 2 hours

I'm making up my own ideas, you need to write down yours.

Yes, I want to make my cctv to start recording footage when it detects movement. But it's running 24 hrs in idle when there are no movements. I mean is when the screen is empty and don't capture anything.
