Help! need arduino sketch

Hi all

I'm new to this arduino forum.

I have a audio amp circuit that picks-up sound.

This amp is connected to a DTMF chip to

decode 0-9 and abcd on my key pad.

What i want to do is pick-up the sound of the key

that pressed on my keypad. then the DTMF chip

decode the pressed keys.then send the code

through my bluetooth module on my phone

then sees those numbers in an app call

BLUETERM. then save to phone.

Can someone write or help me with this Arduino sketch

where it will work right in my circuit.

All help is appreciated.

If I were you, I might start here: http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=121540.0

    Hi  billabott

I already check this site. And found this will not help me.This person done it a different way.

He wrote code for what he want to do in his controller.

I need a direct DTMF sketch for a DTMF standalone chip like the HT9170 CM8870 chip.

A sketch that is for these decoders.

The IC to be used is like this one: http://www.natalnet.br/~aroca/afron/mt8870.pdf , eh?

The 4 pins, Q1 - Q4, are a half byte or nibble.  image

Do you appreciate that when Delayed Steering (Output) pin goes high that is when the nibble needs to be captured?

To do that the UNO will raise the TOE and read the nibble, store it, and bump the dataINarray pointer.  Lower the TOE

Then watching for the Delayed Steering (Output) to go low would be needed to know the key has been released.    REPEAT.

I don't seem to find any sketches on the web for that particular chip.  Sorry.

UPDATE   Searching the www once again for "mt8870 arduino"

I found something that may be of use to you!

http://www.futurlec.com/Mini_MT8870.shtml has a board for $12.90 but no software offered.

http://www.dossant.com/projects/products/dtmf-module/ has a cool llittle board that does this task.

The .ino sketch is here: http://dossant.com/public_files/dtmf_module/proto2/dtmf_plug_in_loopback.ino

    or here: http://www.dossant.com/public_files/dtmf_module/dtmf_v400/dtmf_plug_in_loopback.ino

There are some YouTube videos for MT8870 also.

You may now also work over the  Arduino Forum using the search key "mt8870 ".

    Happy Trails.
