How to control Arduino from Matlab GUI(with, popup menu selecting Serial Com, pbtton to send data, edit txt to input char to send)

I hope this is the beginning of the response for the question. I'm working

on a project which have to establish communication between a human robot

based on arduino board and a pc and smartphone. First with the computer

using serial then after with a smartphone using adaFruit Bluetooth module

for arduino and an android application which I have to develop using

eclipse or any.

I have written a arduino code on my best as a arduino-servo beginner for a

humanoid robot. I have to control the robot by a matlab user interface GUI

as said. The fact is communication between the arduino mega ADK for android

and the matlab GUI using serial. I connect using fopen(my_serial) but I

don't know how to send commands from UI edit text, pushbutton and how to

select the port from a popup menu. Soon I will post the code.

I will really appreciate your help
