Board selection

Hi,

We need a Xilinx 7-serious evaluation board that can give us access to 150 I/O ports.

Most of the boards I checked has limited number of I/Os.

Would you please advise which boards are available for our application?

  • MicroZed max I/O is 115. The PicoZed 7020 max is 125. The PicoZed 7015 and 7030 have 135 PL I/Os and 12 MIOs. So none of those quite make it.

     

    The Zynq Mini-ITX boards (7Z045 and 7Z100 versions) have a High Pin Count (HPC) FMC connector on board that gives access to:

    • 160 general-purpose PL I/Os
    • 9 clock-capable PL I/Os
    • 20 MGT I/Os

     

    If you can utilize the I/Os from the FMC HPC, then I think that board will work.
