ChipScope Voucher

If you were one of those that received the first shipped kits without the included license vouchers --

For Avnet, non-academic customers, please contact david.zaffiro@avnet.com.  He will provide you with a redeemable voucher number via email.

For Digilent, academic customers, please contact support@digilentinc.com

We were able to intercept the next group of boards, and those will have vouchers included, but it will be outside the ZedBoard box (within the outer box).  After that, the voucher will be included inside the ZedBoard box itself.

I just received my voucher from Digilent's support staff and I activate it on the Xilinx web site. Once I activate it, it said the license is only valid for one year. So my question is, are we only entitle to the full version of the software for one year or for as long as have the ZedBoard?

You are entitled to use the full version of the software indefinitely.  You are entitled to updates to that software for one year.  Since the development is done through WebPACK, this really only pertains to the ChipScope license generated with your voucher.
