New to FPGA

Hi
I'm new to FPGA and I'm trying to learn using the Zedboard. I couldn't find enough information for beginners for Zedboard. How do you recommend I should approach this?

My first goal is to build a FIR filter which is based on the audio codec.

Please help.

Sorry I'm late in replying to this thread, but yes, it is possible to target MATLAB code and Simulink models to the ZedBoard. Check out http://www.mathworks.com/zynq for more information.
