Done LED not on

Former Member
Former Member over 13 years ago

Hello,

recently, I got my zedboards, and I powered it, but both boards DONE led does not show up after 15 seconds.

the Power Good LED is lit on.

When I connect the Platform Cable USB II to the JTAG Port, I get an error Message in iMPACT, that two unknown devices are found, requiring an BSDL file for them.

When I hook up the micro-usb cable to PROG (J17), the Drivers are installed successfully, but Impact complaines about "Error:Impact:2246 A reference voltage has not been detected ..."

Did I get two defect boards?

The first batch of production boards may not have shipped with the expected board configuration.  There were some last minute changes to the functional test at the CM that affected this.

The included Quick Start card in the kit is abbreviated and assumes the proper configuration.  Please download the full Getting Start Guide from the Documentation page and follow it.  As described in that guide, you'll need to set several jumpers for SD Boot Mode as well as installing the SD Card.  Then you should see the Linux boot, which does include the DONE LED going high as there is some video IP loaded in the PL.

    Sorry for the confusion.
