New MicroZed not booting

I just received my MicroZed and I am following the Quick Start instructions that were included. http://www.zedboard.org/sites/default/files/documentations/QSC-Z7MB-7Z010-G-v1d_0.pdf.

I followed steps 1-3 and then waited for the blue D2 Done LED to illuminate and it never did. I also tried pressing the RST button and nothing changed. The jumpers are set for QSPI boot mode and the Power Good LED is illuminated. The D3 User LED is also illuminated. Is that supposed to be on? I'm not receiving anything off the UART port either.

Is my board defective? Any advice is appreciated.

Just to rule out a QSPI Flash that was not programmed properly from the factory could you try booting from the microSD Card?

You can download the "MicroZed Linux microSD Card Image Archive" from the MicroZed Documentation page and refer to Appendix E of the "MicroZed Getting Started Guide", also on the MicroZed Documentation page, for instructions on how to boot from the microSD Card. The Archive and the Getting Started Guide can be found here:

Sorry for the false alarm. Apparently my powered USB hub can't power the MicroZed. I swapped out the hub and now it's working as expected.
