Where find SDR Training labs

Former Member
Former Member over 11 years ago

Hi,

I'm searching information about the SDR-Kit and SDR-II Kit. Before I buy a Board, I want to know how to start with it. I have read here about SDR Training with different labs. Where can I find it? Have someboda other Sources for Information?

Thanks

Video tutorials and an archive including source code, Simulink models and Vivado 2013.4 projects for Avnet Zynq SDR-II kits are available at:

http://www.zedboard.org/support/trainings-and-videos under Zynq Design Seminars \ Integrated Software-Defined Radio on ZynqRegistered-7000 All Programmable SoC.

The demos show the Avnet Zynq-7000 / AD9361 Software-Defined Radio Evaluation Kit comprised of AD-FMCOMMS2 on ZedBoard (AES-ZSDR2-ADI-G). The material is also applicable to Zynq-7000 / AD9361 Software-Defined Radio Systems Development Kit comprised of AD-FMCOMMS3 on Xilinx AC706 (AES-ZSDR3-ADI-G).

    Hi,

On the "Zynq Design Seminars  Integrated Software-Defined Radio" page, the source code and design files link is broken.

    Could someone please fix this.

    Thanks!

The source code archive has been refreshed under 'Archive: Download Source Code and Design Files'.

The actual file name is 'ZYNQ_SDR_2014_design_files_v_1_0.zip'

Within this archive is the complete 2013.4 Vivado project with 802.11 beacon frame receiver, as shown at time 02:12 within 'Lecture & Demo 4: Deploying SimulinkRegistered models with Xilinx VivadoRegistered Design Suite'.

    Hey,

acutally i have the Problem, that the BOOT.bin from the Beacon-Frame-RX example doesn't work with the FMCOMMS2-EZB and zedboard. I replaced the BOOT-file on the SD-Card, but it seems that the FMSCOMMS2-Board doesn't get found by the Linux..

    Do you have any recommendation?

    Greetings
    Jan

    Hi all,

The download links are not working (broken) could you fix them? Thanks!

Otherwise, can anybody upload these files somewhere so we can download them?

Avnet is no longer supporting PicoZed SDR.

You can also find the examples on the MathWorks site:

    Examples are listed at https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/zynq-sdr.html

Some short-form tutorial videos are also available:

    •   Tool Setup and Radio I/O
    •   HW/SW Codesign

In addition, MathWorks offers a formal training class on Zynq-based SDR.
