Development tool chain to be used to compile and deploy code onto UltraZed-EG™︎ SOM - MPSoC XCZU3EG from Simulink ?

Hello community,

We would like to know what would be the tools chain to be used to build Simulink models and to deploy the generated code from Simulink to the UltraZed-EGTm SOM - MPSoC XCZU3EG (MCU + FPGA) ?

Actually we are looking for something similar to what is already available for Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC ZCU102 hardware in Simulink (link : Getting Started with Targeting Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC Platform - MATLAB & Simulink - MathWorks France)

The idea behind that is to manage SIL and PIL testing within Simulink environment.

Many thanks in advance for your reply.

It is indeed a compelling workflow!

The supporting infrastructure for this automation is board-specific. ~4 years ago I collaborated with engineers from MathWorks to create the Avnet MiniZed Support Package for Simulink. Just recently one of my colleagues published the Avnet RFSoC ExplorerRegistered Support for HDL Coder. Authoring these support packages would not have been possible without access to the developers at MathWorks. The process for adding new designs for existing boards is relatively straightforward, but adding support for new boards is multi-disciplinary and complex. I would suggest contacting your local MathWorks team. If you don't have any contacts, you can start with fpga_expert@mathworks.com.

    Good luck!

    /Matt

Hi jean59  is there any update on this?, I would like to know more about this as I am currently using the same board and want to deploy it using Simulink environment. Thanks.

    Cheers,
