Zynq Ultrascale+ Boards with FMC Imageon

Hello,

I'm using Ultrascale board based xczu9eg chip and also want to using FMC-IMAGEON card.

Since the reference design of fmc-imageon only consists of zynq-7000, the design has been changed as follows.

I changed the pin constraint related to the FMC signal, and tried to operate the board and the FMC card through the Vitis files that run HDMI-passthrough.

Then I can check this result.

If FMC-IMAGEON is operating normally, I think that the HDMI source from PC should be output to the monitor.

But nothing display on monitor.

Is it impossible to using FMC-IMAGEON on UltraScale Boards?

or Any suggestions please.

On the FMC connector side and the pin setting of ADV7X11, I found that ZYNQ is LVCMOS25 and UltraScale is LVCMOS18. Could this part be causing the problem?

I am also facing exactly the same type of issue. I am carrying out a test on the zcu102 board using the 2021 xilinx tool version. I have followed this git link for the IP and Source Code.

Everything seemed to be fine. I did not get any issues while programming. The programming was also successful as I was able to read back all the programmed register values. However, there was no output. The same type of design works on Zedboard.

Are you saying that the Zync board that you're using is interfacing with I/O bank set to a different voltage than the IMAGEON board? If so, then yes, that would be a big problem.

There may be other issues, but I can't help, I can't even find a schematic for the board. However, that comment above was an important thing that stood out.
