Access to i210 on SMARC SOM?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out if the IMX8M Plus Edge AI kit allows access to the Intel i210 which is, evidently on the SMARC SOM? Is the diagram below from AVNET correct -- it shows 2 PHYs connected to the same network box which seems wrong?

Is the i210 on the Carrier board or on the IMX8M SOM?

Hi,

That diagram looks faulty. The one below from the PDF hardware manual looks corrected, showing what the interface is to the i210 on the carrier board, with no weird connections like the earlier diagram! : )

That is fantastic. Just awesome because I was hoping to find a PCBA where an i210 and DP83867 were simultaneously connected. I thought I was going to need to build a custom PCBA, but now I can use this one.

The first block diagram (from the Product Brief) incorrectly shows both the assembly options available on the Carrier Board for the second Ethernet port. The second diagram (from Hardware User’s Guide) correctly describes the implementation of second Ethernet port in this 8Mplus Edge AI Kit.
