1170-EVK examples on Maaxboard-RT

Hello,

Has anyone managed to use the SDK examples supplied with MCUEspresso (for the 1170-EVK) on the Maaxboard-RT?  The user guide claims this is possible and has a whole section on how to change the configuration to suit the hyperflash on the Maaxboard, which we have followed diligently! But even the simplest "blinking LED" and "hello world" examples fail with "imprecise data bus error" after pressing debug.

The projects supplied by Avnet work correctly.

  • Followup: Has support ended for this board?  I noticed the example projects are using quite old versions of NXP libraries. It's a shame because it could be a very useful SBC.

  • SDK examples work on MaaXBoard-RT.
    It needs some modification on project setup, source code (most is documented well in the AVNET User Guide).

    I have several SDK examples working on MaaXBoard-RT.
    Maybe, the support is a bit weak - but I do not care really. It is not so difficult to convert an SDK example into a working project.
    And due to fact that I have insight to all the code (really every line of code executed I can see, really Open Source, personally I am fine to fix my issues).
    And the real HW debugger on MaaXBoard-RT is a great feature, the Xpressio IDE so feature reach... (much better as Arduino and Teensy 4.1 board).

    I try to "jump in" a bit to provide support (as long as I can contribute with my projects and experiences, just a regular user of this board).

    I like the MaaXBoard-RT, the IDE, the debugger.
