It sounds like you may have a hardware issue with your MicroZed board. Do you have access to another MicroZed to verify this? Has this MicroZed worked in the past?
If your MicroZed is still under warranty you may want to contact the purchase location for an RMA for replacement.

No and I'm not sure. I don't think there is a hardware issue because when I plug it in, I get the blue and green light on my board. Can I reset the board to factory settings?
The blue light indicates that you are booting from either the QSPI Flash or the microSD Card and the Zynq PL has been loaded. If you will set the Boot mode jumpers to 'JTAG' no software will be executed when the board is powered on so the board should be in 'default' state.
If the USB UART driver still does not load with the boot mode set to 'JTAG' then there still could be an issue with the USB connector or the Si Labs USB- UART converter. If it does work with a JTAG boot mode then it looks like the image you are booting could be creating the problem. In that case please revert back to one of the known good images available here:
