MicroZed Hardware Design red led never turns off

red led never turns off

Hi,

I have a microzed with xc7z020, the red led never turns off, is that normal?

Also, I can only program the FPGA when the jumpers are all configured up.

When using another board, after powering the red led is off, so I don't know what is wrong with the first board.

Any ideas?

    Hi iahmed,

    Yes, if you are following Adam's instructions from the beginning then there should be no problems as long as you are not skipping steps.  Adam uses the "MicroZed_PS_properties_v02.tcl" file from the MicroZed.org Documentation page (there is a newer version available today but they both should work okay) in this earlier post here:

    Yes, the image that I pointed out earlier will reset your board back to the factory QSPI Flash image.
