microZed received without microSD...

Question

Hello,
I bought a microZed card. It was delivered without cable and especially without SD card. Is this normal?

What is the procedure for programming an SD card (I'm on Win10 with Vivado 2019.2, the card reference is AES-Z7MB-7Z020-SOM-G / REV-G)?

Is there a SIMPLE example of implementation (to blink a LED, WITHOUT LINUX)?

To tell the truth, I am a little lost in the middle of the ocean of documentation ...

For now, I would just like to:
- program the SD card that I thought I had with the microZed (using Win10)
- blink a led.
Is it possible to do this without reading a billion pages?

Hello Jean-Louis,

The part number you mention purchasing (AES-Z7MB-7Z020-SOM-G) is just the SOM. It is does not come with a microSD card or cables, etc. Avnet does sell a "MicroZed Development Kit" (AES-Z7MB-Z7010-G) that comes with the with the MicroZed-7010 SOM, micro-SD card, and micro-USB cable.

Tutorials 1-4 may be of particular interest. They haven't been updated for a while, but perhaps you can still follow along using the current tools.
