Simulink led blinking External mode issue

Question

sorry to bother, my misfortune with this project is neverending... still trying to run the Simulink led_blinking_4bit example.

HDL workflow was successful, the led on the board is blinking properly and I have the Software Interface Model open. Then when I try to proceed for External Mode I cannot press "Run" but only "Connect to Target" and i get this error:

The model is not configured for External mode.

My Support packages result all up to date, I can ping the board which is connected thru WiFi.

Problem solved installing "Simulink Coder", my fault I was confident to have it simply because I used to have it in the past... now the demo works as expected and no need to change wireless card or to setenv the IP.

I realized that when trying to deploy an older project to Arduino, the diagnostic error message was much more clear stating "you don't have Simulink Coder" instead of " model not configured for External mode".
