PicoZed FMC carrier user led fails to light

Hi,

I'm building a basic BIST (I use PS output clock FCLK1 as system clock for the PL) that suppose to light the user_led located on the FMC carrier board of PicoZed 7015. The light rate is 1 sec.

According to the documents the LED's are connected on PINs Y19/Y18 on the Zynq7015, and connected via JX3 on pins 75 and 73.

When I download the image (via Jtag), both LED's are RED light untill the image load is done. Than the DONE LED is blue and than the LEDs are turned off and never turned on again.

According to Chipscope I can confirm that both PINS are toggeling in rate of 1 sec.

Please advise if there is somthing else that I'm missing here.

BTW: I tried to PULL_UP and PULL_DOWN then pins via the vivado tool, but the results are the same.

Thanks.

    Hello Eya,

I built up a quick example design for the PicoZed 7015 and FMC Carrier and just connected the 'User PL PB1 and User PL PB2' push buttons on the FMC carrier directly to the 'User PL LED1 and User PL LED2', on the FMC carrier as well. After I load the design/bitstream when I push PL PB1 PL LED1 lights. Pushing PL BP2 lights PL LED2 as well. Releasing the push buttons causes the LEDs to turn off.

This seems to validate the hardware and the constraints included in the PZCC-FMC-PCB-C with PZ 7015-7030_v2.xcd file found here:

    http://zedboard.org/support/documentation/4701

You might want to check your constraints against the above constraints file. You could also try the same simple design I did to verify your hardware.
