XM104 and PicoZed FMC Carrier Card

I want to know if the XM104 FMC Connectivity Card is compatible with the PicoZed FMC Carrier Card. I am interested in the SATA interface.

Although more expensive, the Mini-ITX has SATA as a built-in interface. That might be a good starting point to evaluate the technology, then you could move to PicoZed and a custom carrier as Dan suggests for production.
