Can't connect Matlab to PicoZed SDR

Former Member
Former Member over 9 years ago

I'm able to ping Picozed from Terminal on Linux laptop.

PicoZed is on 192.168.3.2
Laptop is on 192.168.3.3

Then I start MATLAB on Linux laptop.  I follow instructions in Matlab documentation  for "Manual Host-Radio Hardware Setup".  In "Step 3", I successfully do:
dev = sdrdev('PicoZed SDR');
setupSession(dev);

Then, I go to "Step 8" and get a warning and error when I do:
i = info(dev)

And I also get an error when I do:
setAddress(dev, 'IP Address', '192.168.3.2');

I tried to upload a Matlab screenshot to:

    Hi Jeff,

    Which Linux image are you booting Zynq with? Is it the ADI image that came with the SD card, or did you update to the MathWorks Linux image, which is required in order to do streaming with Matlab & Simulink.

    See this post for more info -- http://picozed.org/content/sd-card-image-picozed-sdr

    Hi Matt,

    I was not using the Mathworks image.  I am now, and it works!  Thanks!  --Jeff
