which bsp to use for PicoZed FMC Carrier Card v1

openhacker

I want to build petalinux on FMC Carrier Card v1.

I've already built bare metal applications successfully (I used board definitions for Vivado 2016.04, and then imported them into 2018.3

The board defintions I see on:

PicoZed FMC Carrier Card v1

look like they're for FMC2 (I assume that means V2?)

There's older bsp's which don't even list FMC1 (I assume at FMC1 there was no "versioning"?)

So, since I've never done this before (can I construct a bsp from a baremetal application which runs in the SDK?), where do I get a "good"

bsp from?

I can't get the Board Definitions link to work at all. However, there is a copy of it here:

PicoZed FMC Carrier Card V1 | Zedboard

PicoZed Board Definition Install for Vivado 2015.3 through 2017.4

That is an archive that contains all the MicroZeds and PicoZed versions, but you will see 4 folders with picozed_70xx_fmc1 which is for the PicoZed SOM plugged into the PicoZed FMC Carrier Card V1. Even though it is labeled through 2017.4, I think it will also work for 2018.x and 2019.x.

The PicoZed FMC V1 Reference Design page also contains older PetaLinux BSPs. Looks like the most recent ones were 2016.2.
